Prize Desk

Privacy

Plain English, because this should not need a lawyer to read.

What we store

For each raffle: its name, the organiser's name and contact email, the prize list, and a scrambled version of the organiser's passphrase. For each winner: the name, email and ticket number the organiser entered, which prize they chose, and a delivery address if they give one.

What we never do

We do not send marketing, we do not sell or share anything with third parties, and we do not use any of it for advertising. Prize Desk sends no email at all, which is why organisers copy links out and send them themselves.

Who can see it

Only people holding the secret links. A winner's link shows that winner's page. The organiser's dashboard link shows the whole raffle. Nothing is listed publicly, and these pages ask search engines not to index them.

If you organise a raffle

You are responsible for the winner details you enter. Only add what you need, tell your winners you are using a tool to hand out prizes, and delete the raffle when you are finished with it.

Deleting things

Organisers can remove any winner from their dashboard, which deletes that person's details and stops their link working. To delete a whole raffle, or if you are a winner who wants your details removed, contact the organiser whose email is shown on your prize page.

Where it lives

In a Postgres database hosted by Supabase in the UK (London region), and served over HTTPS.
