Prize draw terms and conditions generator
UK advertising rules expect the terms of a prize promotion to be available the whole time it is running, and most giveaways have none at all. Fill in the boxes and take the text. It is free, nothing is saved, and you do not need an account.

Your terms
Read them before you use them, and change anything that does not match how your promotion actually works. Wrong terms are worse than none.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS Promoter: [your organisation] Contact: [your contact email] 1. THE PROMOTER This promotion is run by [your organisation]. Any questions should go to [your contact email]. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform on which it may be advertised. 2. WHO CAN ENTER Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees of [your organisation], their families, and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion. 3. HOW TO ENTER [how people enter] There is no charge to enter and no purchase is necessary. Entries received after the closing date will not be counted. Incomplete or illegible entries cannot be accepted. Only one entry per person unless stated otherwise above. 4. CLOSING DATE The promotion closes at [closing date and time]. The Promoter may change or withdraw the promotion before that time if circumstances beyond its control require it, and will publish notice if it does. 5. THE PRIZE [describe the prize] There is one prize in total. The prize is not transferable, there is no cash alternative, and the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. The prize does not include anything not expressly described above, such as travel, insurance or other expenses. 6. HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received before the closing date. The draw is made using a computer process that produces verifiably random results, and the Promoter keeps a record of the draw showing when it took place, how many entries were included, and how the winner was selected. 7. TELLING THE WINNER The winner will be contacted using the details given at entry within 14 days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond within 14 days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and draw a replacement winner. 8. PUBLISHING THE RESULT The surname and county of the winner will be made available to anyone who asks, by writing to [your contact email] within one month of the closing date. A winner may object to their details being published, and the Promoter will then provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request instead. 9. YOUR DETAILS [your organisation] is the data controller for the details you give when entering. They are used only to run this promotion and to contact the winner, and are not sold or used for marketing without separate consent. To have your details removed, write to [your contact email]. 10. GENERAL By entering, entrants accept these terms. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Clause 6 asks something of you
The terms say the draw is made by a computer process producing verifiably random results, and that you keep a record of it. That is what the rules expect, and it is easy to promise and awkward to prove.
Our free draw wheel does the draw properly and issues a certificate recording the time, the number of entrants, the method and the winners, with a fingerprint of the entrant list so it cannot be edited afterwards. It costs nothing.
